Hypericum perforatum (Hypericum perforatum) from ancient times has been praised for its valuable therapeutic properties and its wide range of applications. Its oil is obtained after immersing its fresh flowers in top quality low-acid virgin olive oil. This is the famous Balsam of the Spartans.
Maria Trepen, in her book Health from the Pharmacy of God, states: Hydrangea oil is a valuable medicine. It should not be missing from any home. Analgesic, anti-inflammatory and healing, it is extremely effective for sciatica and back pain, as well as for any rheumatic pain, joint pains and hydration. For all kinds of sores, recent or open, injuries, bruises and cuts, sores, insect bites, burns, inflammation, ulcers and edema. For cramps, grips and chills, neuralgia and headaches.
We make splashes or slight scratches on the part that hurts. We can even apply local patches with a saturated gauze and wrap it with a waterproof film. Hypericum oil is also drinkable. It is particularly recommended for ulcers, abdominal pain, painful digestion and stomach hyperacidity. We drink half a teaspoon in the morning, fasting and in the evening before bedtime and whenever there is a problem. Frequent use in small doses is recommended. Ideal for any therapeutic or relaxing massage, it can be enriched with essential oils, as appropriate or combined with other oils (eg almond oil, avocado oil, etc.).
Hypericum oil is made from wild (not cultivated) Paikos herbs and low-acid Cretan virgin olive oil.
